Dissertation Defense: Ying Zhang

The oral doctoral examination of Ying Zhang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, April 15, at 11:30 a.m. in Whitman School of Management, room 525.

Zhang’s advisor is Professor David Harris. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Joseph Comprix, Craig Nichols, Lihong Liang and Alex Thevaranjan. Professor David Weinbaum will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”A more Efficient and Effective Objective Measure of Financial Disclosure Quality: Omissions of Seven Key Financial Statement Variables”.”
