Bio: Christelle Mombo-Zigah, Senior Global Enterprise Success Programs Manager at Cisco
Christelle Mombo-Zigah was born and raised in France from Congolese parents. She has a master’s degree in International Economics from La Sorbonne University. She speaks French, English, and Spanish, learned Swedish and Arabic in college and is now learning Portuguese. She has been a professional for 14 years and worked in multiple industries (luxury, eco-friendly, banking, and now technology). She has been in the United States for 11 years and currently lives in San Jose, California. She is a mother of two intelligent, funny, and opinionated little girls aged 5 and 2.5 and married to another tech professional.
She describes herself as a generalist, passionate about innovation, growth, transformation and making an impact in every endeavor she undertakes. She joined Cisco 8 years ago as an Inside Sales Representative at Meraki where she was growing the Canadian market and driving Cisco’s transformation toward cloud networking and recurring revenue business models, she then moved to Corporate Development, in M&A Integrations to help Cisco transform through external innovations and she is now in CX, the fastest-growing organization at Cisco where she reconciles her passion for customer-advocacy and value-realization.
As a continuous learner she is pursuing a one-year accelerated executive leadership program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is using her learnings to drive innovation internally and has recently launched two innovations at Cisco: ONEx Reroute and ONEx Return. At Stanford, Christelle also enjoys the opportunity to expand her network with Leaders at a Global level.
Christelle is currently a mentor for the Connected Black Professional Early in Career cohort. She is also part of reverse mentorship engagements with Senior Directors and VPs at Cisco, as she believes in mutually beneficial upward, downward interactions.
Among other projects, Christelle’s next endeavors are to publish her first children’s books and to complete her memoir to share her story. Her purpose is to “inspire the next generation leaders and give a voice to the voiceless”.
