Dissertation Defense: Pankaj Patil

The oral doctoral examination of Pankaj Patil, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, April 25, at 11:30 a.m. in Zoom.

Patil’s advisor is Professor Yan-Yeung Luk. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors John Mark Franck, Davoud Mozhdehi, Rachel C. Steinhardt and Carlos A. Castañeda. Professor Sarah E. Hall will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “A new class of antibacterial that prevents drug tolerance, persistence, and resistance by controlling emergence of phenotypes.”
