Celebrate the accomplishments of the youth in our community. Young Art/Arte Joven is an annual exhibit featuring artwork created in La Casita’s after-school youth programs.
Throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, youth in our community participate in La Casita’s after-school youth programs. Programs offered are designed in partnership with Syracuse University students, local artists, and community volunteers. Participants develop skills and confidence in the Arts, Dual-Language Literacy, Science, Math, and Wellness. The programs are open to youth in our community ages 6 through 18.
The opening reception will include performances by youth in our Musica and ECHOES programs and the release of a NEW youth publication, created by program participants. Refreshments will be provided. Free parking available.
