The oral doctoral examination of Kurian George, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, August 1, at 9 a.m. in Zoom.
George’s advisor is Professor Maria Minniti. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Todd Moss, Suho Han, Trent Williams and David S Lucas. Professor Lynne C Vincent will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Immigrant Entrepreneurs and the Contingent Value of Personal Legitimacy.”
