Dissertation Defense: Xiaoyan Zhang

The oral doctoral examination of Xiaoyan Zhang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, August 4,  at 9  a.m. in Zoom.

Zhang’s advisor is Professor Merril Silverstein. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Sara Vasilenko, Emily Wiemers, Joey Merrin and Xiafei Wang. Professor Bei Yu will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “How Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences Co-Occur to Place Adults at Differential Trajectories of Psychological Distress: Racial/Ethnic Variations.”
