Dissertation Defense: Abiral Baniya

The oral doctoral examination of Abiral Baniya, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, August 9,  at 10 am EST in the MAE Conference Room – 263B Link Hall.

Baniya’s advisor is Professor Quinn Qiao. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jeongmin Ahn, Yeqing Wang, Victor H Duenas and Ian Dean Hosein. Professor WeiWei Zheng will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Advanced Lithium Metal Batteries : Functional Electrolyte Additive and Lithium Metal/ Solid -State Electrolyte Interface Engineering.”
