The oral doctoral examination of Siavash Sharifi, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, August 11, at 3 p.m. in Zoom.
Sharifi’s advisor is Professor Wanliang Shan. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Amit K. Sanyal, Yeqing Wang, Victor Duenas and Zhenyu Gan. Professor Riyad S. Aboutaha will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Designing LMPA-Based Smart Materials for Soft Robotics Applications.
