Dissertation Defense: Lei Jin

The oral doctoral examination of Lei Jin, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Wednesday, August 24, at 9 a.m. (EST) in Zoom.

Jin’s advisor is Professor Ambika Krishnakumar. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jaipaul Lalla Roopnarine, Eunjoo Jung, Xiafei Wang and Xuan Li. Professor Lutchmie Narine will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Associations Between Family Socioeconomic Status, Family Values, and Child Academic Achievement via Nurturant-Involved Parenting, Teacher-Student Relationship, and Academic Self-Regulation in Chinese Families.”
