Dissertation Defense: Anand Vakil

The oral doctoral examination of Anand Vakil, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, August 26, at 1 p.m. in Link Hall, room 263 B.

Vakil’s advisor is Professor Mary Beth Monroe. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Pranav Soman, Ian Dean Hosein, Era Jain, Julie M Hasenwinkel, and Ivan G Ivanov. Professor Rachel C. Steinhardt will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Exploring the Biomedical Applications of Polyurethane-based foams, films, and hydrogels.”
