Dissertation Defense: Xinyi Zhou

The oral doctoral examination of Xinyi Zhou, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, December 5, at 2:15 p.m. in the Center for Science & Technology, room 3-216

Zhou’s advisor is Professor Reza Zafarani. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Pramod K. Varshney, Vir V. Phoha, and Chilukuri K. Mohan. Professor Cliff I. Davidson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Algorithmic Solutions To Combat Fake News Online.”
