The oral doctoral examination of Joseph DeBarbieri, candidate for the Ed.D. degree will be held on Thursday, December 8, at 11:30 a.m. in Zoom.
DeBarbieri’s advisor is Professor George Theoharis. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Mario Rios Perez, Sultan Kilinc, Leela George and Courtney Mauldin. Professor Kira Kristal Reed will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Leading for Equity: Understanding the influences, realities, resistance, and beliefs around tracking and acceleration in suburban school districts.”
