NIH/OSTP Data Sharing Coffee Hour

SU Libraries will be hosting an informal coffee hour to discuss and answer questions about the new National Institutes of Health (NIH) Data Management and Sharing Policy as well as the new directive from the Office of Science and Technology (OSTP) Memo on Ensuring Free, Immediate and Equitable Access to Federally Funded Research. The NIH policy goes into effect January 25, 2023 and applies to all funded research that collects data. The OSTP memo applies to federal agencies and gives them until December 31, 2025 to update their public access policies to provide fuller and speedier access to funded data and publications.
