Dissertation Defense: Alec Beaton

The oral doctoral examination of Alec Beaton, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, December 15, at 11 a.m. in the Center for Science & Technology, room 1-019 and in Zoom.

Beaton’s advisor is Professor John Franck. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Joseph Chaiken, Arindam Chakraborty, Timothy Korter and Alaji Bah. Professor Liviu Movileanu will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “A Coherence-Colored Look Inside Reverse Micelles: Advancing Magnetic Resonance Relaxometry to Characterize the Dynamics of Reverse Micellar Water Pools.”
