The Office of Financial Literacy within Financial Aid and Scholarship Programs, is proud to present Critical Skill Building: Financial Wellness and Wellbeing as part of the Wellness Leadership Institute at the Barnes Center. This Spring semester, join us during 5 carefully crafted workshops and several supplementary presentations as we talk about navigating personal finances in the modern U.S. economy. We will cover topics such as understanding and monitoring your credit, strategizing to pay back your student loans and other forms of debt, being aware of financial abuse and how shame can dictate our spending habits and what our cultural backgrounds and personal family narratives might have pre-maturely taught us about handling money. Curious about what you can do to set your self up to have a healthier relationship with your finances and reach financial freedom after graduation? Join us, ask questions, dig in deep and improve your money mindset this semester.
The topic of discussion for this workshop will be; “Spend Responsibly, Beginner Budget Practices.”
