This seminar in Certificate in University Teaching series will provide individuals new to the idea of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) with foundational concepts and skills, as well as opportunities for application, while empowering individuals with UDL familiarity with contexts and approaches for bringing UDL directly into the classroom. Design Justice will be discussed as a framework for UDL innovation and as an approach that simultaneously informs and unpacks UDL. The workshop is led by Diane Wiener, Ph.D. (Burton Blatt Institute).
