You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Linnea Ritchie, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, which will be held on Thursday, February 17, at 1 p.m. in Zoom.

Ritchie’s advisor is Professor Roy Welch. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors James Hougland, Anthony Garza, Heather Coleman and Eleanor Maine. Professor Brittany Kmush will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Nature of Phenotypes: Provoking and Measuring the Dynamic Processes of Swarm Expansion, Predation, and Antibiotic Resistance in Myxococcus xanthus.”
