Three-Minute Thesis is a research communication competition that challenges graduate students in all research programs to deliver a compelling oration describing the nature, importance, and inherent interest of their dissertation or thesis project in no more than 180 seconds. In this information/prep session, Director of Graduate School Programs Glenn Wright, longtime host/moderator of the competition, will explain how the 3MT works, offer tips for crafting and delivering your best presentation, and answer your questions. The registration deadline for Syracuse University’s 2022 competition is February 21, with initial submission due in video form by March 22. Contestants selected for the final round will compete in person on April 1.
