The oral doctoral examination of Alexander Ebert, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, February 25, at 2 p.m. in the Life Sciences Complex, room 105.

Ebert’s advisor is Professor Jason Fridley. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Douglas Frank, Katie Becklin, Tom Horton and Louis James Lamit. Professor Estelí Jiménez-Soto will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Rooting for the home team: arbuscular mycorrhizas and root traits in native and invasive woody shrubs.”
