Trained in health science, personal trainer JT Houston is a Syracuse entrepreneur who specializes in sustainable health experiences that celebrate Black communities and encourage them to overcome barriers. 80% of a healthy diet is what you eat, which is why this session focuses on healthy cooking and eating habits that work to combat the health disparities that directly affect the Black community. Join this session as Houston shows you how easy it can be to prepare healthy, affordable meals in advance – those who get it, get it.
Presented by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and 119 Euclid as part of the Black History Month celebration.
