Newhouse alumna Jessica Stone ’00 has covered international news for outlets ranging from Fox Business Network to The South China Morning Post. Her stories have included coverage of the presidential elections in Afghanistan, the second summit between Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump and an earthquake in Haiti.

Along the way she has learned some very important lessons about cross-cultural competency, lessons that are important to any journalist who will cover stories that will require communication with people from all corners of the Earth. Stone learned some of these lessons the hard way. You can benefit from those experiences by coming and hearing about to her adventures and tips.
