Dissertation Defense: Jordan Loewen

The oral doctoral examination of Jordan Loewen, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Zoom.

Loewen’s advisor is Professor Zachary Braiterman. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors M. Gail Hamner, Biko M. Gray, Rachel Wagner and Jeremy Stolow. Professor Christopher Hanson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Problem of the “Virtual”: Virtual Reality, Digital Dualism, and Religious Experience.”
