Virtual Narratives: Evolving Storytelling Through Gaming Platforms

A primary goal of effective storytelling has always been to immerse the audience in the world of the character. Today, dynamic gaming platforms are being leveraged to unlock interactive new modes of fiction and non-fiction narrative. In this panel, filmmakers whose work is featured in this year’s New Frontier program, together with creatives and educators, will discuss their experiences using these technologies to innovate and engage.

  • Mike Brett and Arnaud Colinart, lead artists, “On the Morning You Wake (To the End of the World)”
  • Sparsh Ajuha and Erfan Saadati, co-creators, “Child of Empire”
  • Lillian Diaz-Pryzbyl, producer, Butcher Bird Studios
