BioInspired Town Hall: Drug Discovery Focus Group

BioInspired Leadership has been working to determine the best organization for our focus groups to support faculty and trainee interests moving forward. We have developed a proposal to:

• Merge the “drug discovery” focus group into the “smart materials” and “development and disease” focus groups.
• Faculty participants who have been involved with the “drug discovery” focus group are very supportive of this plan.

As this affects the BioInspired Institute membership more broadly, the next step is to hold an open town hall for all BioInspired faculty to allow further discussion of the proposal, and to garner additional feedback.
