Dissertation Defense: Chenyan Wang

The oral doctoral examination of Chenyan Wang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, July 28, at 12 p.m. in 414 Bowne Hall.

Wang’s advisor is Professor Zhen Ma. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors James H. Henderson, Mary Beth Monroe, Julie M. Hasenwinkel and Samuel Herberg. Professor Alison E. Patteson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Engineering temporal and spatial complexity in biomatreial scaffolds for cardiac mechanobiology and disease modeling.”
