Dissertation Defense: Yao Wang

The oral doctoral examination of Yao Wang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, June 8, at 10 a.m. in Eggers Hall, room 112.

Wang’s advisor is Professor Alexander Rothenberg. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Devashish Mitra, Stuart Rosenthal, Ryan Monarch, Alfonso Flores-Lagunes and Gary Engelhardt. Professor Dimitar Gueorguiev will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Essays on Economic Geography and Development Economics.”
