Dissertation Defense: Kathryn Piston

The oral doctoral examination of Kathryn Piston, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, March 4, at 9 a.m. in Zoom.

Piston’s advisor is Professor Shikha Nangia. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Julie Hasenwinkel, James Henderson, Pranav Soman and Era Jain. Professor Arindam Chakraborty will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Atomistic investigation of nucleosomal H3 histone tail in unmodified and epigenetically modified states.”
