The oral doctoral examination of Kirsis Dipre Montes de Oca, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Wednesday, March 9, at 1 p.m. in Zoom.

Dipre Montes de Oca’s advisor is Professor Melissa Luke. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Yanhong Liu, Qiu Wang, Gretchen E. Lopez and Mario Rios Perez. Professor Rashmi Gangamma will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Mental Health Service Use Disparities Among Latinx Communities: An Intersectional Examination of the Role of Skin Color, Acculturative Stress, Racial Discrimination, and Mental Health Literacy.”
