Dissertation Defense: Eric van der Vort

The oral doctoral examination of Eric van der Vort, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, March 11,  at 10 a.m. in Zoom.

van der Vort’s advisor is Professor Thomas Keck. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Elizabeth Cohen, Shana Gadarian, Keith Bybee and Sarah Pralle. Professor John Western will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “’We Are All More Free’: How Ideas and Arguments Shape the LGBT Movement.”
