Dissertation Defense_ Alanna Warner-Smith

The oral doctoral examination of Alanna Warner-Smith, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Friday, March 11, at 2 p.m. EST in 402 Maxwell Hall.

Warner-Smith’s advisor is Professor Shannon Novak. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Guido Pezzarossi, Lars Rodseth, Sabrina Agarwal and Meredith Linn. Professor Susan Branson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Working Hands, Indebted Bodies: Embodiment of Inequality and Labor in an Era of Progress.”
