Samantha Youngman Meiler, vice president and head of social media, Nickelodeon

The Syracuse University chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) hosts Samantha Youngman Meiler, vice president and head of social media at Nickelodeon.

Meiler provides strategic and creative leadership for 100+ brand and property accounts with over 300 million fans. In her 12 years at Nickelodeon, she has held numerous social and digital roles, helping to launch Nick Family Insiders, NickMom, NickSplat, NickSports and the Nickelodeon division of the Viacom Digital Studio.

Prior to joining Nick, she spent a decade in print media, working her way up from fetching coffee and packing trunks for photo shoots to writing and top-editing at titles including YM, Glamour, Us Weekly, Life & Style and InStyle.

Pizza will be served, and there will be a Nickelodeon-themed prize giveaway.

Note: Event attendance is mandatory for PRSSA members. Those interested in holding leadership positions with the chapter are also encouraged to attend.
