Each year, Syracuse University recognizes and participates in Take Back The Night (TBTN), a global event dedicated to raising awareness about sexual, relationship and domestic violence, and other forms of interpersonal violence.
Hosted in-person at Hendricks Chapel, the night will include keynote speakers, a rally and march on campus, followed by a virtual message board where students can provide words of encouragement or messages of support.
In addition to attending TBTN, there are a number of ways for the campus community to Be Involved. Find complete details on the Take Back The Night webpage.
- Take Back The Night Pledge: Sign by Tuesday, March 29, 2022, to be included during the event.
- #IWillTBTN Campaign Creation: March 21-25, 2022, using paper stars and posters, you and your peers and colleagues can share how you will actively work towards a safer community. These will be collected and displayed at the TBTN rally.
Thank you for your help in creating a safer, more caring community!
