A space for individuals that identify as transgender, nonbinary, genderqueer and/or gender questioning!
Students who attend will read and discuss an excerpt from Eric A. Stanley’s Captive Genders: Trans Embodiment and the Prison Industrial Complex. In honor of the week’s theme, the conversation will be focused on prison reform.
Please note that this is a closed group only for those holding the above identities. If you are an ally, this is not the space for you, but please contact us at lgbt@syr.edu and we can provide you with resources and answer any questions.
