Join us virtually on Zoom or in-person to experience this event on the big screens for an interactive virtual experience, with one of the most accomplished women in the esports gaming industry, Brenda Romero.
As the Barnes Center at The Arch Esports Women’s History Month celebration capstone, Romero will share her experiences and insights as a woman in the video game industry.
As a Fulbright Scholar, artist, writer and creative director, Romero has been working in the video gaming industry since 1981. Spearheading the industry as co-creator of some of the biggest games in gaming history, Quake and Doom, her professional projects also include Dungeons and Dragons games, the Wizardry franchise and more! Additionally, Romero has been recognized with numerous awards such as the Game Developers Choice (GDC) Award, Development Legend and has received recognition from Forbes.
