Shared Competencies are Syracuse University’s integrated learning goals. The six shared competencies reflect what all students should know, do, and value as graduates of our institution. These institutional learning goals prepare undergraduate students for professional and personal success, allowing them to communicate the value of their degree to prospective employers and graduate schools. The Shared Competencies provide pathways for students to connect their major field of study, liberal art requirements, and co-curricular or other experiences.
The Shared Competencies team is currently seeking first-year students to apply to be Student Ambassadors. Attend this virtual information session to learn more about the opportunity and ask questions! To learn more about Shared Competencies, visit the website.
Student Ambassadors are paid positions. The Student Ambassador application is open until April 4th and is currently live on Handshake.
