Dissertation Defense: Mattie Mattie Mackenzie-Liu

The oral doctoral examination of Mattie Mackenzie-Liu, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, May 17, at 9:00 a.m in 426 Eggers Hall, the CPR – Large Conference Room.

Mackenzie-Liu’s advisor is Professor Colleen Heflin. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Leonard Lopoo, Sarah Hamersma, Emily Wiemers and Michah Rothbart. Professor Madonna Harrington Meyer will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Three Essays at the Intersection of Child Welfare and Public Policy.”
