The oral doctoral examination of Abhilash Yallappa Dombara, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, May 26, at 12 p.m. in the Physics Building room 204 and in Zoom
Yallappa Dombara’s advisor is Professor Denver W Whittington. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Steven Roy Blusk, Paul A Souder, Scott Watson and Mitchell Soderberg. Professor Scott Samson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Constraining Beam Backgrounds and Analyzing the Detector Response in a Test Beam with the NOvA Experiment.”
