Dissertation Defense: Dickson Ong’ayi

The oral doctoral examination of Dickson Ong’ayi, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Tuesday, November 15, at 10 a.m. in Falk College, room 302.

Ong’ayi’s advisor is Professor Jaipaul L. Roopnarine. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Ambika Krishnakumar, Bruce Carter, Bernard Appiah and John Teria Ng’asike. Professor Lutchmie Narine will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Associations Between Paternal Depressive Symptoms and Children’s Behavior Outcomes via Intimate Partner Violence and Paternal Rejection in Kenyan Families.”
