Screening and Discussion: ‘Police On Trial’

Join Panelists Marcia Robiou, producer for PBS “Frontline,” Liz Sawyer ’14, crime reporter for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and Libor Jany, public safety reporter for the Los Angeles Times, for a screening of the “Frontline” documentary “Police on Trialand a conversation about police accountability coverage.

The documentary examines “one of the most pivotal events in the history of race and policing in America.” On-the-ground reporting and filming covers  the time period immediately following the death of George Floyd, the trial and murder conviction of former police officer Derek Chauvin and ongoing struggles for police accountability and reform in Minneapolis.
