This webinar centers around the preparation necessary to win, instead of merely submitting proposals to, Science/Engineering foundation award competitions. Topics covered will include (1) understanding foundations’ interests in funding faculty research; (2) the difference between a foundation vs. a federal research idea; (3) effective integration of faculty ownership and FR support to form a competitive application; (4) a detailed example of anticipated faculty workload and timeline; and (5) other tips in proposal preparation.
