The Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs’ Program on Latin America and the Caribbean presents Miguel Alcantud.  He will present the techniques in his latest book Cómo escribir una obra de Microteatro (y que te la publiquen) [How to Write a Micro-play (and get it published)]. He will work with students and faculty to help them create their own short theater performance in Spanish.

Miguel Alcantud is the creator and artistic director of the Microteatro transnational theater network and a member of the Academia de Cine (Film Academy). He has directed four full-length films and 60 chapters of television series on primetime or streaming platforms. Alcantud has written and directed many plays for live theater in various formats (long and short-form theater). He has published three books: the novel Incertidumbre (with Penguin Random House), the theater anthology Microteatro, una historia a través de 9 microobras and a book on writing micro-theater, Cómo escribir una obra de Microteatro (y que te la publiquen).
