Meet the panelists:
Julia O’Leary
Born and raised in Lancaster, PA, Julia was thrilled to head north for undergraduate studies at Syracuse. As a Writing and Rhetoric major and Newhouse minor, Julia wanted to pursue a career in writing and journalism. She has a passion for storytelling on a local, national, and international level and a constant craving for new experiences. After earning her degree from Syracuse in May, she traveled for the summer, living in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. This September, she began her masters program at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.
Taylor Parks
At Syracuse University Taylor earned her degree in Writing and Rhetoric with focuses in English and Communication Sciences. There she gained valuable experience in several internships in the fields of publishing, marketing, and communications. After graduating she gained valuable leadership skills in property management. Hailing from the Catskills but currently based in Boise, Idaho, Taylor enjoys spending the majority of her time outside of work in nature hiking, paddling, or biking. When she is not on the mountain or in the office she enjoys a good book and live music.
Maddie Wischerath
After graduating from Syracuse University in 2022 with a BA in Writing and Rhetoric and a minor in Music Performance, Maddie Wischerath joined the Product Research team at Sweetwater Sound. She currently serves as a Product Copywriter, writing product pages for band and orchestra gear. In her free time, Maddie enjoys exploring local food spots, curating Spotify playlists, watching Arrested Development, and spending time with her “yello” labsky pup, Mello.
