Experts@Syracuse is a public-facing profile system for Syracuse University faculty who are actively producing research, scholarship, and creative works across disciplines. The system is jointly managed by the Office of Research and Syracuse University Libraries. Profile fields include content such as your works, presentations, prizes, grants, and creative activities. Available sources from literature databases and research tools can be set up to populate works directly into your profile. Other content can be populated via RIS or BibTex files and manual entry. Your profile is searchable via Google and its URL can be linked on other research profiles, your email signature, and faculty web pages. You could also use your profile data as relevant when applying for tenure and promotion, grant proposals, and research awards.
Join the workshop to find out more, including:
- 10 ways to make your profile robust and visible
- How to set up available sources from databases and research tools to automatically populate your profile
- How to connect your profile with ORCID to add works and affiliation
