The oral doctoral examination of Jessica Powers, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Thursday, October 27, at 12:15 p.m. in Zoom.
Powers’s advisor is Professor Joseph Ditre. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Stephen Maisto, Katie Kidwell, Jillian Scheer and Sarah Woolf-King. Professor Janet Wilmoth will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Longitudinal Associations Between Pain and Use of Cigarettes and E-Cigarettes in the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study.”
