The Student Association Board of Elections is hosting three information sessions for prospective candidates to learn more about running for one of the open 25 Assembly seats. Attending one of the information sessions is required for anyone who is running for office.
The Assembly is the legislative backbone of the Student Association—YOUR student government—and plays a critical role in creating legislation and advocating for students.
The sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Wednesday, Aug. 31, 7 p.m., Heroy Auditorium
- Tuesday, Sept. 6, 7 p.m., 119 Euclid
- Thursday, Sept. 15, 7 p.m., Heroy Auditorium
The deadline to file a petition is Sept. 19, at noon.
