Service Project: Tree Planting with Home Headquarters!

Block Blitz is Home Headquarters’ annual community event that brings together homeowners and volunteers to help cleanup, landscape, paint, and repair as many as homes as possible in a single day, rain or shine, at no cost to residents. This year’s event will be held on Friday, September 16th, from 9 am-3 pm. Block Blitz is also Home HeadQuarters annual fundraiser, but instead of asking you to buy a ticket to a dinner or gala, we ask you to volunteer your time, as part of a sponsored team, to help a neighborhood and its residents. Proceeds raised support Block Blitz and Home HeadQuarters’ programs.

Volunteers can clean up, paint, landscape, and renovate! Typical volunteer jobs include clearing brush, raking leaves, painting pretty much anything, sealing driveways, planting flowers, mulching, and much more.

You do not need to bring anything except for yourself! Home HeadQuarters will provide volunteers with snacks, water, and lunch (usually served about 1 pm). We will also provide you with work gloves that are yours to keep!

Hendricks Chapel is providing tshirts for all volunteers!   Please provide your t-shirt size when you register.

Transportation will be provided. We will meet at Hendricks Chapel steps at 8:30 am
