A Night of Comedy Featuring Please Don’t Destroy

University Union presents a night of comedy, featuring Please Don’t Destroy with support from Chloe Troast and Jamie Linn Watson. The show begins at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.

The show is open to Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students and faculty/staff only. Tickets for students are $5; tickets for faculty/staff are $10.

Please Don’t Destroy is a New York-based comedy trio consisting of Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy. They’re currently writing and making videos for Saturday Night Live. New York Magazine/Vulture profiled them and also named them to their recent Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2021 List.

Chloe Troast is an actor, writer and comedian based in New York City. Chloe recently wrapped HBO Max’s Feature Film, “Sweethearts,” starring Kieran Shipka and is currently filming the feature film, “Please Don’t Destroy Vol. 1,” opposite Conan O’Brien, Bowen Yang and Megan Stalter, directed by Paul Briganti and produced by Judd Apatow. Chloe co-wrote and starred in the wildly popular series, “The Basics,” but is best known for starring in many of Please Don’t Destroy’s short films. In addition to performing with her sketch/improv team, A Crazy Amazing Friendship and NYCF headlining sketch team LISA, she regularly performs in her popular solo show, “An Evening With Pepper Slit.” Her digital sketch “Feminism Professor” was recently profiled by Vulture and she is currently working on her debut Adult Swim Smalls series “Good Service.”

Jamie Linn Watson is an NYC-based actor and comedian. She is currently on the house team at Asylum NYC while touring with Story Pirates, a media and education company that takes the words and ideas of kids and turns them into musical comedy shows. Last year, Jamie showcased for SNL. Jamie co-wrote and starred in the Vimeo web series, “The Basics,” which was listed as a must-watch by Glamour magazine. Jamie was a member of NYU’s premier improv troupe, Dangerbox, and has performed at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, the People’s Improv Theater, The Annoyance, the National College Improv Tournament, and The Brooklyn Comedy Collective.
