In collaboration with Syracuse University Falk College Department of Public Health, the Le Moyne College Department of Physician Assistant Studies will be hosting a movie night to kick-off “Public Health Week.” Participants will gain an understanding of food insecurity and ways to address this issue. Join us for a screening of Crow Country: Our Right to Food Sovereignty and Hungry to Learn. Crow Country enlightens its audience to one tribe’s struggle to retain food security. Hungry to Learn addresses the devastating hunger crisis unfolding on American campuses; college students so strapped to pay tuition that they don’t have enough money to eat or a place to live.
