Dissertation Defense: Katherine Reichel

The oral doctoral examination of Katherine Reichel, candidate for the Ph.D. degree will be held on Monday, April 3, at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Reichel’s advisor is Professor George Theoharis. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Qiu Wang and Gerald Mager. Professor Mario Rios Perez will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “High Stakes Assessment and Testing Disconnect: Examining Student Performance on Grades 3 – 6 Common Core ELA and Math Assessments and Performance on English and Algebra Regents Exams in High School.”
