The Clothesline Project is a visual display of T-shirts that are decorated with empowering messages and statistics by persons impacted by interpersonal violence. The purpose is to break the silence, raise awareness and create a cultural change. The display is powerful and some material shared on the shirts may be difficult to read.
This exhibition is displayed in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, which is observed in April. The Clothesline Project will be on display in the Schine Atrium throughout the week of April 10-14. There will be educational materials and resources outside the display for those that want more support. Stop by the display to create a T-shirt.
